Jon Fry - Bowsprit Arrival - 88 Days at Sea
Our triumphant arrival at the island of Nuku Hiva, in the Marquesas Islands, after 88 continuous days at sea was a joy to behold. Jon Fry wearing proper piratical head-gear, can been seen straddling the bowsprit and bringing in the flying jib one last time, before we sail through the headlands. The volcanic spires in the distance and the verdant mountains of this tropical island can be easily seen in the backdrop.
